Dave Grohl, the acclaimed frontman of Foo Fighters, has revealed an extensive therapy regimen involving over 430 sessions. This intensive personal work began following his public acknowledgment of infidelity in September 2024.
Grohl shared in a recent interview that his therapy journey has been ongoing for approximately 70 weeks, with sessions occurring six days a week. He explained that this period of self-reflection was necessary for multiple reasons, aiming to "sit with myself and reevaluate myself."
While he admitted to stepping outside his marriage, Grohl noted that writing songs about his experiences is not always sufficient for processing deeper emotional matters. He continues to maintain a boundary, reserving many personal reflections for his private life, despite its public nature.
Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, have been married since 2003 and share three daughters. His public confession in September 2024 also included an announcement of welcoming a daughter with another woman, expressing his commitment to being a supportive parent while working to regain his family's trust.
