Former Storage Wars cast member Darrell Sheets died by suicide in April 2026, according to his autopsy report. The report detailed Sheets' tattoos but stated they were not a factor in his passing.
Sheets, known as 'The Gambler' on the popular A&E series, was discovered deceased on April 22, 2026, at a residence in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Authorities reported the scene indicated a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His departure from the show after 15 seasons did not end his passion for antique hunting, as he continued his work at his shop.
Following his death, Storage Wars co-star Rene Nezhoda suggested that Sheets had been a victim of cyberbullying. Law enforcement confirmed they were investigating these allegations. A&E expressed their sorrow over the loss of a "beloved member" of the Storage Wars family, extending condolences to his loved ones.
