Apple TV+'s "Dark Matter" is set to launch its second season on Friday, August 28, 2026, two years after the initial May 2024 release of its first season. Season 1 explored Jason's encounter with an alternate version of himself who abducted him using 'The Box.' This technology allows individuals to explore parallel existences where they have made different choices. The season contrasted the lives of Jason 1 and Jason 2, highlighting their individual regrets and aspirations.
