Daredevil Star Slams Born Again Episode 5

Charlie Cox, the actor portraying Matt Murdock, has voiced his strong disapproval of the fifth episode of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, titled "With Interest." Cox described the episode as "really dumb," specifically criticizing a bank heist sequence that occurred without Daredevil donning his iconic costume. This self-contained episode, which also included a cameo from Yusuf Khan, father of Ms. Marvel, was the sole installment that remained unchanged during significant reshoots.

While Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 underwent substantial revisions mid-production, "With Interest" was notably untouched. Cox previously felt that including a bank heist in the series was a dated concept, comparing it to a "'70s game." Despite his personal reservations about this specific episode, the season as a whole received positive critical reception. The series is scheduled to continue with Season 2 on the 2026 TV schedule, and filming for Season 3 has already commenced.
