Star-Studded 'Incestuous Sisters' Adaptation Announced

A significant cast has been assembled for the forthcoming feature adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger's "Three Incestuous Sisters." Dakota Johnson, Saoirse Ronan, Jessie Buckley, and Josh O'Connor are slated to star in the film, which will be directed by Italian filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher.
Rohrwacher has also co-written the screenplay with Ottessa Moshfegh. While loosely based on Niffenegger's novel, specific plot details are being kept confidential. Indian Paintbrush is financing and producing the project, with principal photography scheduled to commence in April.
All four lead actors are experiencing notable career highs. Johnson recently starred in "Materialists" and "Daddio." Ronan garnered acclaim for "The Outrun" and is filming a Beatles biopic. Buckley has received accolades for "Hamnet" and will next be seen in "The Bride."
O'Connor recently appeared in "Wake Up Dead Man" and is set to co-star with Emily Blunt in Steven Spielberg's "Disclosure Day." Rohrwacher's last feature, "La Chimera," premiered at Cannes and received critical praise.
