Daisy Kelliher Navigates Turbulent Waters on Below Deck Down Under

In a recent interview, Daisy Kelliher, the chief stew on the upcoming season of Below Deck Down Under, reflects on her experience working with Chef Ben Robinson and leading a new crew. Kelliher, who previously starred on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, admits she was "nervous" about the move to the Down Under franchise, as she was leaving the comfort of working with Captain Glenn Shephard.

However, Kelliher says she was determined to bring her "A-game" to the new season, which is set to premiere in February 2026. The chief stew acknowledges that there was significant drama with Chef Ben, who "challenged" her and was "not easy to work with." Despite the workplace tensions, Kelliher says the two ultimately developed a mutual respect.

Kelliher also had to navigate challenges within her own stew team, as one of her crew members had to leave the boat before the first charter even began, stretching the team thin. The chief stew had to decide whether to "draw the line or allow her leadership to be questioned" as tensions erupted between her stews.

Despite the obstacles, Kelliher reflects positively on her time on the new season, praising her working relationship with Captain Jason Chambers. She believes the crew "smashed it" and is excited for viewers to see the results of their hard work.
