Kirsten King's debut novel, "A Good Person," is being brought to the screen, with Daisy Edgar-Jones attached to produce. King is penning the screenplay, collaborating with Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner on production. The novel, slated for publication on March 31, introduces Lillian, a vengeful character who casts a drunken hex on an ex-situationship, only for him to die.
Working Title's Co-Chair, Eric Fellner, expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the novel's wit and dark humor. He noted the exciting new creative partnership with Edgar-Jones, who recently starred in Working Title's "Sense and Sensibility." Elinor Kahn, Director of Development LA, is overseeing the project for Working Title Films.
