The collaboration follows a previous instance in October 2025 where Bangalter played a rare b2b2b2n set with Fred again.., Erol Alkan, and Busy P at Paris' Centre Pompidou. This marked Bangalter's first public DJ set in 16 years, and he shared with Fred that he hadn't performed without his mask in 24 years.
