4 Feb
Summary
- Dacoit film shifts to April 10, 2026, from March 19.
- Release moved to avoid clashing with Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic.
- Anurag Kashyap and Yash will also be featured in the film.

Actors Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur's film Dacoit has a new release date, moving from March 19 to April 10, 2026. This decision was made to steer clear of direct competition with other significant films releasing in March 2026, specifically Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic.
The film, shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, is directed by Shaneil Deo, who also co-wrote the story and screenplay with Adivi Sesh. Prominent director Anurag Kashyap also plays a key role, alongside Mrunal Thakur.
Adivi Sesh recently concluded the final shooting schedule, describing the experience as both surreal and emotional. He shared that the film's production has been an intense physical, creative, and mental journey. Sesh conveyed his gratitude to the team for their unwavering belief in the vision from the outset.
Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur is also set to appear in the film Do Deewane Sheher Mein, scheduled for release on February 20, 2026.
