DJ CYRIL Drops Into Fortnite With New Emote

Electronic music specialist CYRIL has made a notable entry into the popular video game Fortnite, announcing his inclusion in the "Icon Series." This collaboration introduces an official emote to the game, set to the tune of his 2025 update of the 1990s indie hit "There She Goes."

CYRIL, whose real name is Cyril Riley, has garnered significant recognition for his skillful remixes. In 2024, three of his tracks appeared on Spotify's Australian Music Global Impact List. His remix of Disturbed's "The Sound Of Silence" secured the number one position, highlighting his ability to reimagine well-known songs for contemporary audiences. His breakout single from 2023, "Stumblin' In," which interpolates a late 1970s hit, has achieved over 746 million streams on Spotify alone and earned two ARIA Award nominations.

This Fortnite debut closely follows the release of his new track "That's Her," a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa, aimed at expanding his presence in North America. CYRIL is also scheduled for several European tour dates, including performances at Tomorrowland Winter and Tomorrowland. The "There She Goes" emote is available in Fortnite until 11:00 AM local time on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
