The rigorous West End production, running from February 4 to May 31, features Erivo in a solo performance, embodying 23 different characters, including the iconic vampire. She has expressed both fear and excitement about this demanding role, which marks her return to the London stage after her acclaimed performance in 'The Color Purple' in 2015.
Erivo's nomination comes as 'Wicked' the musical movie garnered five Golden Globe nominations this year. The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
