On October 30, 2025, popular actor Allu Sirish and his fiancee Nayanika were eagerly anticipating their outdoor engagement ceremony in Hyderabad. The couple had meticulously planned a romantic winter celebration in a lush green courtyard, complete with a glass canopy, chairs, and elegant decor.
However, nature had other plans. Cyclone Montha, a severe cyclonic storm, brought heavy rain and strong winds to the region, disrupting the couple's dreamy engagement plans. Sirish took to his Instagram to share a glimpse of the rain-soaked venue, showing the muddy grassy area and workers trying to arrange the drenched decor.
Expressing his disappointment, Sirish wrote, "Planned for an outdoor winter engagement. But the Weather Gods have other plans!" The severe cyclonic storm had caused widespread disruption across Telangana, with Hyderabad witnessing continuous heavy to very heavy rainfall, leading to flooding in several parts of the city.
Despite the setback, Sirish and Nayanika remain hopeful that they will be able to celebrate their love and commitment in the near future, once the weather conditions improve. The couple had announced their engagement on October 1, 2025, sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram and remembering Sirish's late grandmother, who had wished to see him married.
