He performed on significant albums such as "Wish" (1992) and "Bloodflowers" (2000), contributing to the band's enduring sound.
After being dismissed by frontman Robert Smith in 2005, Bamonte rejoined The Cure for recent tours, including a 2022 run that covered 90 shows. He was also a 2019 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with his bandmates. His final performance occurred on November 1, 2024, in London, celebrating the release of their latest album.
