Craig Conover is questioning his involvement with Southern Charm after his co-stars highlighted his alleged anger issues stemming from a volatile Mexico trip. During the season 11 reunion, Conover expressed that the show's dynamic made him feel vulnerable, leading him to reconsider his participation.

Confronted by his castmates about his behavior in Mexico, which occurred while he was intoxicated, Conover confessed, "Maybe this isn't right for me." While some suggested his anger, not his drinking, was the primary concern, Conover admitted to feeling overwhelmed by others meddling in his personal affairs.

He recalled an incident where he confronted Sally Carson and Venita Aspen, attributing his outburst to frustration over his business being interfered with. Conover acknowledged that his actions during the trip were extreme, with co-stars describing it as a "psychotic break" and a "tornado."
