Several talented individuals who previously did not secure a spot on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) for the 2025-2026 season have returned for the 2026-2027 training camp. Brianne Lindenau, Emily Awbrey, Maci Quayhagen, and Savanna Dastrup are among the familiar faces aiming for a coveted position on the team.
These dancers, after facing disappointment in the previous season, expressed their gratitude for the experience and their renewed determination. Brianne Lindenau, who attended prep classes in January, has been invited back. Emily Awbrey received encouragement from director Kelli Finglass to re-audition and has now submitted her audition video and attended finals.
Maci Quayhagen also shared her gratitude and strengthened passion after her previous attempt. Savanna Dastrup, advised that timing might have been a factor, is now joining the other hopefuls in the 2026 rookie candidate class. Their journey highlights perseverance as they pursue their dream of becoming DCC.
As of June 22, 2026, these candidates are actively participating in training camp. Their performance throughout this rigorous process will determine if their aspirations of joining the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders become a reality for the upcoming season.
