House Swap Turns Deadly: Lies, Betrayal, and Murder Unfold

A house swap arranged online between two couples, Helene and Carl Wester, and Scarlett and Adam, quickly descends into a nightmare. What began as an idyllic vacation in Sicily and Stockholm, respectively, turns sinister when a decomposed body is discovered in a well.

It is revealed that Adam, having an affair with Helene and impregnating her, was confronted by Scarlett's brother, Tom, who threatened to expose them. Adam killed Tom accidentally during a scuffle and then, with Helene's complicity, meticulously framed Carl for the murder.

Adam and Helene drugged Carl, stole his phone to manipulate GPS data, and ran over Tom's body with Carl's car to plant evidence. Meanwhile, Carl's business partner, Ragnar, blackmails Helene over her involvement, forcing her to forfeit her shares.

Scarlett becomes suspicious of Adam's behavior and, with the help of a retired detective neighbor, uncovers messages on a hidden phone that reveal Tom's murder. This leads to a confrontation where Adam kills the neighbor and attempts to drown Scarlett.

Scarlett survives, and in a final struggle, causes Adam's death. She spares Helene, who is pregnant with Adam's child, and the police arrive to take Scarlett into custody.
