Summary
- Singer Carpenter arrests Kidman with pink fuzzy handcuffs at Nashville concert
- Kidman and Urban file for divorce after 19 years of marriage
- Kidman loves Nashville's tight-knit community and raising her children there

In a surprising turn of events, country music star Carpenter arrested Hollywood icon Nicole Kidman on stage during her recent Nashville concert on November 4, 2025. Carpenter, 26, used her signature pink fuzzy handcuffs to "arrest" the 58-year-old Kidman, who was in the audience, to thunderous applause.
The incident occurred as Carpenter was referencing Kidman's famous AMC Theatres ad that typically plays before a film. "We come to this arena for magic, right?" Carpenter said, before joking, "I expected to find love but not my soulmate." Carpenter then followed her onstage tradition of asking Kidman her name and where she was from, to which Kidman replied that she lives in Nashville.
This lighthearted moment comes just a day after news broke that Kidman and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, 58, had officially filed for divorce. The couple, who have been married for 19 years, share two daughters and also have two children from previous relationships. They had been living separately since early summer, according to reports.
Despite the recent split, Kidman remains a beloved figure in the Nashville community. A source close to the family revealed that Kidman "loves the tight-knit community and group of friends that she has built" in the city, and that it's the "perfect place to raise her children."
