The inaugural Country Splash Cabo festival occurred from September 4-6, offering an intimate country music experience in Cabo San Lucas. Country Splash secured a buyout of the 350-room Paradisus Cabo San Lucas, an all-inclusive luxury beachfront resort, for the duration of the festival. This provided an exclusive setting for the estimated 3,000 attendees, with plans to potentially expand to 5,000 in future years.
Headlined by Tucker Wetmore, Jon Pardi, and Riley Green, the festival also featured emerging talent and popular acts like Dasha and LoCash. Performances began after sundown, with temperatures remaining warm throughout the evenings.
The festival is part of a trend of country music events in Mexico, appealing to both international tourists and the growing local fanbase for the genre. While offering luxurious accommodations that reached up to $10,000 for four nights, the festival also provided more accessible one-day passes starting at $199.
