Country Star Arrested Amid Custody Battle

Country music artist Josh Sanders, who gained fame as a runner-up on 'The Voice' in 2024, was recently arrested. He was booked into the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina on outstanding warrants for traffic violations and allegedly obstructing a police officer. This legal issue surfaces amid a contentious custody dispute between Sanders and his wife, Kendra, whom he separated from in January.

Court documents detail Sanders' request for custody, while Kendra has accused him of alcohol dependency and driving their children while intoxicated. She also claims he has exhibited violent behavior in front of their children, and that his drinking has negatively impacted his career post-'The Voice.' Sanders and Kendra, who grew up as neighbors, share three daughters and tragically lost a son at birth.
