Summary
- Hardy's new album "Country! Country!" released in September 2025
- Album features reflections on his country roots and personal experiences
- Hardy suffered injuries and PTSD from a bus crash in 2022

In September 2025, country singer Hardy released his fourth studio album titled "Country! Country!". The album showcases the Nashville musician's reflections on his country roots and personal experiences.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Bottomland", which Hardy recently performed solo on "The Tonight Show". The anthemic song sees Hardy singing about his humble beginnings, with lyrics like "Lord just take me as I am/ Bury me in bottomland/ I am just a country boy/ Where I come from didn't have no choice."
Beyond the upbeat, nostalgic moments, "Country! Country!" also features some darker themes. According to a recent Rolling Stone review, the album includes "at least the full eight songs that find him contemplating his own burial or death." This likely stems from the traumatic bus crash Hardy was involved in during 2022, which left him physically injured and suffering from PTSD.
Despite the personal challenges, Hardy is set to promote "Country! Country!" with an expansive tour starting in February 2026. The trek will feature a rotating lineup of supporting acts, including radio hitmaker Tucker Wetmore, indie duo Muscadine Bloodline, and country honky-tonker Jake Worthington.
