On October 11, 2025, the Korean steakhouse COTE celebrated the opening of its latest location inside The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. The grand opening party was a star-studded affair, with several high-profile hip-hop artists in attendance.
Rap legends like Dr. Dre, Nas, N.O.R.E., and Mobb Deep's Havoc were among the guests who came to support the new COTE Vegas outpost. The event also featured a special DJ set by Anderson .Paak, who took the stage and shouted out his half-Korean heritage.
For COTE's founder and CEO, Simon Kim, the Vegas opening was a full-circle moment. Kim, who went to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and started his hospitality career in the city over 20 years ago, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to partner with the iconic Venetian Resort.
The Venetian's President and CEO, Patrick Nichols, echoed Kim's excitement, stating that COTE will "bring some real energy" to Las Vegas and add to the "bustling vibrancy of the strip." Guests at the party were treated to flowing drinks and some of COTE's signature dishes, including a Vegas-exclusive "BlackJack" A5 wagyu sandwich.
While COTE is best known for its food, the Vegas location is described as "a club and restaurant, where entertainment is there with pulsating energy." The opening is part of The Venetian's recent $1.5 billion renovation, which has updated nearly 4,000 suites and added $200 million in upgrades to the hotel's meeting and convention spaces.
