Coronation Street emerged as the leading show at the 2026 Inside Soap Awards, securing a remarkable nine accolades. The popular ITV series was crowned Best Soap for the third consecutive year, reflecting the significant engagement from over 110,000 viewers who participated in the voting.
Individual honours included Best Actress for Vicky Myers, who plays DS Lisa Connor-Swain, and Best Actor for Gareth Pierce as Todd Grimshaw. The awards also recognized Jude Riordan as Best Young Performer for his role as Sam Blakeman.
The critical storyline involving domestic abuse, featuring Todd Grimshaw and Theo Silverton, earned James Cartwright the Best Villain award. The Coronation Street-Emmerdale crossover episode, "Corriedale," was celebrated as Best Showstopper, and Daniel Brocklebank received the Best Exit award for his character Billy Mayhew.
