Coronation Street is gearing up for a thrilling "Murder Week," featuring five special episodes starting Monday, April 27th. The week will revolve around a murder-mystery set against the backdrop of Carla Connor and Lisa Swain's wedding day. Each of the five installments will revisit the same day, focusing on a different potential victim.

Five characters have been identified as possible victims: Megan Walsh, Jodie Ramsey, Carl Webster, Theo Silverton, and Maggie Driscoll. By the end of the week, Betsy, Lisa's daughter, will discover a body, igniting a search for the perpetrator. A new teaser clip shows the potential victims in funeral attire, hinting at the dark turn of events.

Corrie producer Kate Brooks described the storyline as a "thriller-esque story" for spring and early summer, involving a significant portion of the community. She highlighted its complexity and intricate nature, promising numerous twists and turns. The narrative explores how each potential victim has exhibited darker behaviors, providing motives for their demise, leaving the audience to question who will die and who will be the killer.
