Actor's Decade-Long Quest for Rare Snow Globe

Actor Corbin Bernsen, experiencing a career resurgence with roles on Apple TV's "Your Friends and Neighbors" and NBC's "The Rise and Fall of Reggie Dinkins," also maintains a unique passion: collecting snow globes. He possesses an impressive collection exceeding 10,000 globes, a hobby that began organically.

Bernsen's interest sparked during his "L.A. Law" tenure (1986-1994) from promotional gifts. What started with 25 globes evolved into a significant collection. He now actively seeks unique pieces in antique stores and flea markets, finding online marketplaces too convenient.

He notes a small, tight-knit community of about ten serious snow globe collectors worldwide. Bernsen still desires a rare 1896 Eiffel Tower snow globe from the Paris Expo, currently owned by a friend, which he calls the "holy grail" of his collection.

With over 10,000 snow globes, Bernsen is authoring a book about his collection and life story. He is contemplating selling the entire collection to an institution that will display it publicly or establishing his own snow globe museum, possibly in the Hudson Valley.
