The Conjuring: Last Rites, the final installment in the highest-grossing horror franchise of all time, is set to debut on HBO Max this Friday, November 21st, before its linear television premiere on Saturday, November 22nd.
The film, which stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, follows the couple as they take on a case that strikes at the very heart of their family. In this latest chapter, the Warrens must confront a supernatural threat that targets their daughter, Judy.
The Conjuring: Last Rites shattered records during its September theatrical release, securing the largest global opening for a horror film. Now, fans will be able to stream the highly anticipated finale on HBO Max, where the entire Conjuring Universe is available.
Directed by franchise veteran Michael Chaves, the film was produced by James Wan and Peter Safran, the architects behind the Conjuring series. The screenplay was written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, with a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and Wan.
