Comedian Crashes The Voice Audition, Fails to Impress Coaches
4 Nov
Summary
- Comedian Yang auditions for The Voice coaches
- Coaches remain unimpressed, don't turn their chairs
- Yang offers to be a mega mentor on the show

In a surprising turn of events on the November 3rd episode of the singing competition show The Voice, coaches Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, and Niall Horan were interrupted by a unexpected audition from comedian and actor Yang.
The incident occurred when the coaches stumbled upon an ethereal set and questioned if they were still on The Voice stage. Yang then emerged and pointed out Bublé's "good nose," welcoming the coaches to the magical land of Oz. Yang seized the opportunity to audition for the coaches, asking them to turn around so he could perform.
Despite Yang's attempt to sing a few lines from the Wicked musical, the coaches remained unimpressed and did not turn their chairs. McEntire admitted she liked his song choice, but whispered to Horan that her hit "Fancy" would have been a better option. When Yang asked for Bublé's opinion, the coach claimed his "button was broken."
Undeterred, Yang offered himself up for a different role on The Voice, stating he was "available to mega mentor." However, the coaches had to leave to get to the Knockouts, leaving Yang's dream of auditioning for the show unfulfilled.
