Emmy winner Colman Domingo is set to headline "The Headlands House," a new thriller limited series developing at Netflix. The project hails from AMC Studios, with Domingo and Raúl Domingo executive producing through their Edith Productions, alongside Patrick Moran of PKM Productions.
Cameron B. Dupont penned the script and will also serve as an executive producer. The series will explore the chilling story of a gay couple whose marriage begins to unravel after moving into their ideal home, only to discover its violent history.
Their dream dwelling was the site of brutal murders, and the couple soon fears they may become the next victims. This project deepens Domingo's existing relationship with Netflix, following his starring roles in "The Madness" and "The Four Seasons."
"The Headlands House" also signifies an expansion for AMC Studios into third-party production. This strategic move was previously indicated by AMC Global Media CEO Kristin Dolan on a recent earnings call, emphasizing the studio's growing development with various distributors.
Edith Productions, co-founded by Colman and Raúl Domingo, has a history of producing acclaimed projects. Domingo is also known for his role in AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead."
