Collin Gosselin Alleges Childhood Abuse by Mother

Collin Gosselin, one of the children from the reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8," has detailed allegations of childhood abuse allegedly perpetrated by his mother, Kate Gosselin. He claims that after his parents' divorce, his mother isolated him, confining him to a locked basement room and zip-tying his hands and feet. Gosselin recounted an incident where his teacher noticed an injured earlobe, allegedly sustained from being dragged by his mother. He was removed from the home days before his 12th birthday and placed in an institution.

After a year in the institution, Gosselin wrote a note to his father asking for help. His father eventually secured his release through the court system. Two years later, Collin moved in with his father and sister Hannah. In 2023, an independent psychological evaluation reportedly found no mental health diagnoses, which Gosselin stated confirmed his ability to function normally. He is currently studying finance in college and expressed a desire to reconnect with his six siblings, acknowledging their relationships may never be the same.
