Summary

- James, 23, has Angelman Syndrome; Farrell launched a foundation.
- Henry, 16, was embarrassed by his father's fashion choices.

Colin Farrell's sons, James Padraig Farrell, 23, and Henry Tadeusz Farrell, 16, are not fans of their father's on-screen villainous roles. Farrell, who has often played antagonists like The Penguin and Lord Percival Graves, humorously noted on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that his sons are "sick of me being a bad guy."
Farrell shares James with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave and Henry with former partner Alicja Bachleda-Curús. The actor considers fatherhood his "ultimate success." James was born on September 12, 2003, and diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, a neuro-genetic disorder.
In honor of James, Farrell launched the Colin Farrell Foundation in 2024 to support adults with intellectual disabilities. "I want the world to be kind to James," he stated. Henry, born October 7, 2009, has also had moments of embarrassment, particularly regarding his father's fashion choices and his father allowing him to watch the horror film "It" at age 8.
Despite these humorous moments, the father-son bond is strong. Henry accompanied his father to the Oscars in March 2023, where they sported matching velour tuxedos.
