CoComelon, the popular children's animation phenomenon, is making its theatrical debut with CoComelon: The Movie, scheduled for release on February 19, 2027. This CG animated feature will introduce audiences to JJ, his friends, and a host of new characters. The film boasts an impressive voice cast, including SZA, Ike Barinholtz, Nicholas Hoult, and Sarah Sherman, along with Ego Nwodim, Josh Johnson, Matt Friend, Rhys Darby, and Cristo Fernández.
Connor Esterson will voice JJ, with Camden Brooks as Cody, Olivia London Leyva as Nina, and Aerina DeBoer as CeCe. The movie is a collaborative effort between Moonbug Entertainment, the original creators of the hit preschool show, and Flywheel Media. Prime Focus Studios, DreamWorks Animation, and DNEG Group are also involved in the production and animation.
Directed by Kat Good, known for her work on "Kung Fu Panda," the film is inspired by the live production "CoComelon LIVE! JJ's Journey." Grammy-nominated Justin Tranter serves as executive music producer, promising the signature earworm songs CoComelon is celebrated for. The franchise has already expanded with spin-offs like "CoComelon Lane" on Netflix.
