During their visit, the stars were presented with the popular local delicacy, Vada Pao. However, videos circulating on social media show the actors exhibiting reluctance to consume the snack.

Initial hesitation was evident as the trio posed with the Vada Pao, with Kriti Sanon citing the messiness of eating it on camera. Shahid Kapoor appeared unwilling to take a bite at all. Following consistent requests from photographers, they eventually took small bites, though Shahid was observed pretending to eat. This behavior sparked a backlash online, with many netizens accusing the stars of hypocrisy.

Critics highlighted the perceived double standard where celebrities promote unhealthy products like sugary drinks but maintain strict dietary habits for themselves.
