18 Jun
Summary
- Cocktail 2's advance earnings of over Rs 3 crore trail recent films.
- Film's advance bookings are the second-lowest after O'Romeo.
- Cocktail 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail.

Director Homi Adajania's upcoming film, 'Cocktail 2', is anticipated to have a modest box office debut. Ahead of its June 19 release, the film has garnered over Rs 3 crore in advance earnings. Trade estimations indicate that this pre-release collection falls short of the advance sales for Kriti Sanon's 'Tere Ishk Mein' and Rashmika Mandanna's 'Thamma'.
Furthermore, 'Cocktail 2' has recorded the second-lowest advance bookings, surpassed only by Shahid Kapoor's recent theatrical release, 'O'Romeo'. While 'O'Romeo' earned approximately Rs 3.05 crore gross on its opening day, 'Cocktail 2' has thus far grossed Rs 3.16 crore. For comparison, 'Tere Ishk Mein' achieved Rs 5.65 crore in advance gross earnings, and 'Thamma' grossed Rs 6.37 crore.
'Cocktail 2' is a spiritual successor to the 2012 film 'Cocktail', co-produced by Dinesh Vijan, Pramita Vijan, and Luv Ranjan. The Central Board of Film Certification has issued the film an 'A' certificate. The film's true box office success will only be evident following its first day of release.
