CM Vijay Watches Last Film 'Jana Nayagan'

Hours before the theatrical release of 'Jana Nayagan', Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay attended a private screening in Chennai. This event at the Tagore Film Centre in Adyar is widely seen as the actor-politician's viewing of his final film before dedicating himself to public service.

Nakkheeran reported that members of the Tamil Nadu Secretariat staff, along with government officials and police personnel, joined Chief Minister Vijay for the screening. Security was notably heightened around the venue for the special show.

The release of 'Jana Nayagan' faced considerable challenges, including delays due to certification issues and legal matters. An earlier online leak of an illegal copy also impacted the film. Despite these obstacles, the makers successfully navigated the hurdles for the highly anticipated premiere.

For many of Vijay's supporters, this screening held emotional weight, symbolizing his shift from acting to becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. This personal milestone amplifies the excitement surrounding the film's release, with fan celebrations anticipated across multiple cities.

'Jana Nayagan' features Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, and Narain in significant roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film, which is poised to be a major career highlight for Vijay.
