This comes as a new HBO comedy series, 'I Love LA', is set to premiere and feature several iconic Los Angeles landmarks, including the Silver Lake Reservoir and Erewhon market.
The show's creator and star, Rachel Sennott, explained that the series was inspired by her own experiences of moving to LA during the COVID-19 pandemic and feeling isolated, as well as going through her "Saturn return" in her early 20s. Sennott said the show explores themes of vulnerability, loneliness, and the desire to keep her friend group together as they start to drift apart.
The series, which also stars Odessa A'zion, Jordan Firstman, True Whitaker, Josh Hutcherson, and Leighton Meester, has been described as "Entourage for internet it girls". Hutcherson, who plays Sennott's boyfriend, said he was immediately drawn to the script and impressed by Sennott's comedic talents.
