He dedicated much of his life to the Cottenham Theatre Workshop in Cambridgeshire, where he performed in 76 productions and directed 26. His performances as a dame were a highlight, appearing in this role 19 times, and he also authored 17 pantomimes for the group.

Beyond his extensive stage work, Clive also brought smiles to children's faces as Mr. E, a magician, performing at local parties and primary schools. His theatrical journey started in his school days and continued through various local societies, culminating in the founding of the Cottenham Theatre Workshop in 1977.

Born in Soham, Cambridgeshire, Clive lived most of his life in Cottenham. After a career in radio communications and human resources, he fully embraced his passion for the stage. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy, and two grandchildren.
