Summary
- The Circle star Beth was hospitalized with a mystery illness.
- She is awaiting surgery after developing a pelvic infection.
- This forced her to leave her son for the first time overnight.

Beth Dunlavey, a contestant on the second series of The Circle, has been hospitalized with a mystery illness that has left her traumatized. She described the experience of being admitted to a ward overnight as particularly difficult, especially because it meant being away from her two-year-old son, Atlas, for the first time since his birth.
Dunlavey had been feeling unwell for approximately a week before being called into the hospital. She revealed that she has been managing a condition since giving birth, during which time surgeons opted to leave diseased bowel intact due to its vascular nature.
Recent CT scans indicated an abscess and infection in her pelvic area. This has now necessitated surgery, although the infection must first be brought under control. Dunlavey expressed that while she has been in regular contact with her consultant, she had not previously felt ready for the corrective surgery, which may include a hysterectomy.
