Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is set to launch its exciting 2026-27 season, featuring a dynamic array of theatrical productions. The season centerpiece is the world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's commissioned media satire, "Talk," which will be a key part of the inaugural Made in Cincy: New Works Festival.
The Rouse Theatre will host a diverse lineup, including the high-tech mystery "Heist," a musical tribute "Get Happy: Angela Ingersoll Sings Judy Garland," and the holiday favorite "A Christmas Carol." The acclaimed musical "Cincinnati King," celebrating local music history, and the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning drama "Purpose" are also scheduled.
Audiences can anticipate the gripping psychological thriller "Rope" and the festive one-woman comedy "The Twelve Dates of Christmas." The Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre will present Theresa Rebeck's "Talk," along with Vinny DePonto's mind-reading show "Mind Reader," the profound survival story "I Am My Own Wife," and the romantic comedy "Table 17."
