CID Stars Reunite as Sworn Enemies in Dayanand Shetty's Thriller Film

Dayanand Shetty, the beloved actor who portrayed the iconic character of Inspector Daya in the long-running crime TV show CID, is now venturing into film production with his first Hindi movie, Hello Knock Knock Kaun Hai. The thriller film, which Shetty is producing, will see a surprising twist as he and his CID co-star Aditya Srivastava take on the roles of sworn enemies, a stark departure from their on-screen partnership.

According to Shetty, the decision to produce the film themselves was driven by their desire to have creative control and avoid constant interference from a producer. The team, including director Prabal Baruah, had a clear vision for the story and were determined to bring it to life without any external pressure. Remarkably, they were able to wrap up the entire shooting in just 17 days, a testament to their efficient planning and execution.

In addition to Shetty and Srivastava, the film also features Sonali Kulkarni and Barkha Bisht in key roles. The director has intentionally given the characters shades of grey, ensuring that the audience will be kept guessing about the true motives of the protagonists until the very end.
