This extensive programming will feature all 12 of Nolan's feature films, including "Memento," "Inception," and "Oppenheimer." Several films will be presented in the immersive 70mm format, offering a unique cinematic experience. The retrospective also includes a screening of Philip Kaufman's "The Right Stuff," a film Nolan has cited as a personal favorite.
Additionally, a special "quote along" screening of Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" is scheduled before "Oppenheimer" on July 18, playfully referencing the "Barbenheimer" phenomenon of summer 2023. The event will be launched with a live podcast recording by The Big Picture hosts Sean Fennessey and Amanda Dobbins.
