Christopher Meloni, renowned for his tough-guy detective roles, previously starred in the darkly comedic Syfy series "Happy!". This show, co-created by Darick Robertson of "The Boys" fame, is adapted from an Image Comics graphic novel.
The series centers on Nick Sax, a former police officer turned hitman. After a near-fatal heart attack, Sax miraculously returns to life, only to discover he can now perceive Happy, a fluffy blue unicorn. This peculiar companion is, in fact, the imaginary friend of Sax's daughter.
Unexpectedly tasked with protecting his newfound daughter, Sax faces a formidable foe. The villain is menacingly disguised as Santa Claus, adding a surreal and terrifying element to Sax's mission to rescue his child.
