Ex-Real Housewife's Husband Drains $27K Monthly on Shared Home

Christian Dumontet, formerly known as Christian Richard and estranged husband of Christine Quinn, is seeking sole legal ownership of their former shared Los Angeles residence. He reports spending approximately $27,000 monthly on the property, which he purchased in 2019 as an investment. Dumontet stated in court filings that he needs to sell the home urgently to stop significant financial losses associated with maintaining a non-income-producing asset.

Dumontet owes $3.5 million on the mortgage and is burdened by rent, security, and upkeep expenses. He is currently residing in France with his girlfriend and their one-year-old son. He asserts that Quinn has not contributed financially to the property since its purchase and has not resided there since approximately September 2025. Quinn moved back to her native Texas after their split in March 2024, following alleged domestic violence incidents that led to Dumontet's arrest.
