Actress Christa B. Allen Rebuilds Life After Alleged Cult Leader Relationship

In September 2025, actress Christa B. Allen, best known for her roles in the TV series "Revenge" and the film "13 Going on 30," is opening up about her journey to rebuild her life after a past relationship with an alleged cult leader.

Just one month ago, Allen took to TikTok to share her story, revealing that she had been "in love with a charismatic wealthy cult leader who burned it [her life] to the ground." Now, the 33-year-old actress tells PEOPLE that she is "feeling better than ever" and is focused on moving forward.

Allen explains that it was important for her to speak up about her experience, as "women speaking up about what they've been through helps other women." She adds that even when everything seems to be "burnt to the ground," it can be the "perfect starting point to build something new and beautiful."

The actress is now seeking more film roles that "light her up" and is building her own platform to support other creators, particularly those with powerful messages related to faith. "I work with talent who have a really strong, powerful message, usually related to God in some way," she says. "I love to speak to their communities about their love for God, so supporting them is really special."

As for a potential "Revenge" reboot, Allen says she would "love to be a part of it," as she is "a storyteller at the end of the day" and just wants to "tell great stories that connect people."
