Chrissy Teigen has announced the passing of her father, Ron Teigen Sr., sharing a heartfelt and emotional tribute on Instagram. She described the suddenness of his death, noting that she had long believed she was emotionally prepared for the loss of her 'old dad.'

Teigen fondly recalled her father's passions, stating he loved bass guitars, swing dancing, wood carving, animals, YouTube, and his family above all else. She shared that she had recently expressed her profound gratitude to him in a letter, cherishing that moment. Her husband, John Legend, also honored his father-in-law, affectionately called 'Papa Ron,' expressing his love and gladness that Ron Sr. spent time with his grandchildren.

Ron Teigen Sr. was previously known for getting a tattoo of his daughter's face for her birthday in 2018. He had filed for divorce from Teigen's mother in 2019. Teigen and Legend have been married since 2013 and have four children.
