- Goebel's approach is to give 100% regardless of the scale of the project

Parris Goebel, a renowned choreographer, has been making waves in the entertainment industry with her collaborations with some of the biggest names in music. As of November 1st, 2025, Goebel has recently worked with Lady Gaga on the singer's Coachella set and the subsequent Mayhem Ball tour.
Goebel, who was born with a passion for dance, has previously collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and Rihanna on their respective Super Bowl halftime shows in 2020 and 2023. Her approach to choreography remains the same, regardless of the scale of the project. "It doesn't matter the scale, I give it my all," she says.
For Lady Gaga's Mayhem Ball tour, Goebel and the creative team conceived a grand opera house-inspired set, complete with stone columns and grand archways. This allowed Gaga and her dancers to seamlessly transition between different elements, such as Gaga emerging in a caged dress and a chessboard battle during the performance of "Poker Face."

Goebel's work on the tour has been widely praised, with the "Paparazzi" performance featuring a rainbow cape and crutches being particularly challenging yet deeply meaningful. "Being an artist that can survive the test of time, which she is, is such a testimony to her resilience, and how fearless and unapologetic she is," Goebel says of Gaga.
