Competitors will face grueling physical trials, such as archery and spearfishing, not only to survive but also to earn the ingredients for their dishes. They must construct their own kitchens and prepare meals exclusively over open flames.
Hosted by Ted Allen, the competition begins as a team effort before shifting to an individual battle. The chefs will contend with the elements throughout, striving to outlast their rivals and secure the ultimate prize of $100,000.
Episodes of "Chopped Castaways" will be available to stream the day after their Food Network debut on HBO Max.
