As the Diwali festivities approach, Bollywood actress Chitrangda Singh is fully immersed in the celebratory spirit. On October 15, 2025, the actress graced the ramp at the recently concluded Bombay Times Fashion Week in a stunning lehenga ensemble, which has got her excited about the upcoming festive period.
Chitrangda, who prefers traditional Indian wear over Indo-western outfits, shares that she loves wearing jewel tones like rubies and emeralds during Diwali. She explains that while she prefers an anarkali or salwar kameez when at home lighting diyas, she opts for a lehenga with a dupatta when going out for Diwali celebrations.
The actress also reveals that while she doesn't buy a lot of gold herself, her mother is an avid gold shopper. Last year, Chitrangda gifted her mother a diamond ring set in gold, which was something her mother had always wanted. She believes in the Diwali traditions and is happy to carry on the ritual of gold shopping on Dhanteras, which falls on October 18, 2025.
