Actress Chitrangada Singh has commented on the prevalence of male leads in war dramas and action thrillers, suggesting biological and social reasons for this trend.

She stated that physical and biological differences, along with societal norms, often make women appear less suited for the intense demands of such roles as seen in films like 'Dhurandhar'.

However, Singh also expressed a strong belief in the cinematic potential of female-led action films. She argues that showcasing women in unexpected, gruesome action sequences, when driven to extreme points, offers a unique and exciting element.

This perspective comes as the first glimpse of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' was unveiled. The teaser features Ranveer Singh as Hamza, hinting at intense action sequences set in Pakistan, with the film scheduled for release on March 19, 2025.
