Chiranjeevi's #Mega158 Launched with Pawan Kalyan's Blessing

Chiranjeevi's 158th film, tentatively named #Mega158, officially commenced with a mahurat ceremony on May 21, 2026. Director Bobby Kolli is helming this project, which reunites the actor and director after their film Waltair Veerayya. The launch event was attended by family members and industry colleagues.

Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu were the chief guests at the auspicious occasion. Chiranjeevi shared his joy, noting Pawan Kalyan's presence and his role in giving the clap for the inaugural shot. This gesture echoed past support, as Chiranjeevi recalled aiding his brother in his early career.

The film's technical crew includes S Thaman for music and Vijay Kartik Kannan for cinematography. Anaswara Rajan has been cast in a significant role. KVN Productions is backing the film, marking their debut in Telugu cinema after successes in other languages. Regular shooting is set to begin in Hyderabad on the following day.

The screenplay is a collaborative effort, with contributions from Kona Venkat, K Chakravarthy Reddy, Hari Mohana Krishna, and Vineeth Potluri. The dialogues are being crafted by Bhanu-Nandu. The film is anticipated to be a grand production with high-voltage drama.
