Bona Film Group's historical war epic "Crossing" held strong in third place, adding $6.4 million in its second weekend and bringing its total to $27.6 million.
A24's "Backrooms" secured fourth place with $4.7 million, pushing its cumulative total to $14.5 million. Disney and Pixar's "Toy Story 5" rounded out the top five, earning $3.1 million in its third weekend, with its China total reaching $36.9 million. Mainland China's total weekend grosses amounted to $47.8 million, while the year-to-date revenue stands at $2.61 billion, a 40.3% decrease from the same period in 2025.
