Summary
- Lucha Libre festival to feature wrestling, mask-making, and food trucks.
- Event supports Laramie County Library's goal of providing community resources.
- Professional wrestler Hector Delosreyes makes his return to the ring.

The Laramie County Library in Cheyenne is set to host an unprecedented Lucha Libre festival this Wednesday, coinciding with the seventh annual WyoGives charitable giving day. The event aims to surpass last year's bookmobile party by bringing a colorful Mexican wrestling tradition to the library's parking lot. Activities will include a luchador mask-making station, an obstacle course, and a two-hour wrestling match presented by Hugo's Lucha Libre, led by professional wrestler Hector Delosreyes. Delosreyes expressed excitement for his return to the ring after a two-year recovery from a broken femur. Food trucks and cotton candy will be available, adding to the festive atmosphere. The festival also serves to educate attendees about the sixth-penny sales tax Propositions 3 and 13, which will appear on the Aug. 18 primary ballot for community-requested infrastructure improvements to the library system. This initiative is connected to the Hughes Charitable Foundation Incentive Pool, potentially increasing charitable donations. The library, supported by the Laramie County Library Foundation, aims to thrive by offering resources like 3D printers and business support. The festival also includes a special bilingual storytelling session where the wrestling stable will act out a story, bridging Spanish and English cultures.
